How are the sessions run?

We run field sessions on Saturday Mornings at am 10:30am (10:15 arrival to ensure you get the full allocated time). If there is a session cancellation or a change in time you will be notified via our Instagram page or via email. Both of these platforms are located at the bottom of the page.


Weekend sessions give XL athletes a chance to enhance their on-field skills in a group environment. Group sessions are an essential part of development for our athletes here at XL. It is very important for athletes to compete against each other and to emulate game situations. Beginners will undergo a different session to advanced players to ensure that everyone is best suited at their current stage of development. We want to ensure that everyone in attendance is going at their own pace.

Football sessions.

XL Performance has partnered up with an FA licensed training partner. 11Side Academy specialise in the delivery of teaching footballing fundamentals as well as delivering football camps.

Our aim at XL Performance is to deliver an effective and rigorous strength and conditioning program to enhance their athletic ability.
